Rules
This community is a Role-play community for adult, mature players. Any one that continues to break the rules will be asked to leave by a moderator.

The Rules:

Be adults.
Utilize common sense.
Permission from a player.
This community is 18 or older.
Inactivity.
NPC's.
Respect your fellow players.
Character Profiles.
Three Strikes, You're out.

Be adults. If you're not one, pretend. The moderators are not parents, nor do they wish to be anytime soon. If you have a problem with another player, attempt to settle it with them in a civil manner. If you feel uncomfortable doing this, or feel you can not reach agreement, bring the problem to a Mod. If you have an issue with a Mod, bring it to their attention, or the attention of another moderator. They don't bite.
Above all, utilize common sense.

Be responsible role-players. Know that actions have consequences, good or bad.</a>
Before your character maims, kills, or otherwise severely effects another player's ability to play their character you should ask permission from that player.
Due to Adult Content in the form of Graphic Sex and Violence, this community is 18 or older. All members are to send an age statement to the moderators. All threads containing Violence and or Sex will be friends only.

-While this community is Adult Rated, it is not to be used as mecca to write pornographic novels. Sex, should not be the main goal of your RP. It is expected that players work towards plots that will involve several other members and characters of the community. That is not to say, everything must be heavy and involved. However, we do expect more from the cast list than a bit of ‘Orange County’, who is kissing who this week. Drama, while useful, should be a plot device, and not the plot itself.
Inactivity- Regular play is encouraged, and expected in the Community. We understand that not all members have boundless free time to devote to the game, however we would like to see as much character involvement as they can manage. If a character is inactive for more than 3 months the character will be removed from the game, and the PB put up for the use of other players. To rejoin the game you will need to post your application again. If you are sick, injured, or otherwise unable to get online for any length of time, but would like your character’s held, please contact a mod with a short explanation of why. Please note that extensions are taken case by case, and there is no promise that one will be given.

A)Please note: If there is a continual pattern of inactivity, you will be asked to discuss any issues you might have with the moderators, to see what changes can be made to help your play or if this is the right game for you.

B)Players also should not leave a thread for more than a week without repping. After one week of inactivity in a thread, the held up players can move their characters on with a brief explanation of how the meeting ended.
NPC's - Are acceptable, but should not be played more than your characters. There should be no more than two or three NPCs for any player that will be in common usage, or reoccuring.
Respect your fellow players- No flaming on the board. Tact is the key to any OOC Discussions on RP style or problems, Names and characters should NOT be brought up.
Character Profiles- Players are to post their applications in the character's user-info after they are accepted. This is for our sanity as well as the other players, and your own.
Three Strikes, You're Out- Players are given three shots to comply with rules, or a mod request, before they are removed from the game. (Save removal due to inactivity, or failure to complete the application process.) There will be a time limit of one week between each warning, and a total of three weeks tops to comply. Strikes, however, do no simply go away. By complying, a Strike drops a level (I.E. From a Strike Two to Strike One). For each additional level, it will take one week for the strike to clear.

      Strike One- A first strike comes in the form of a mod informing you over IMs that something needs to be done, or changed, and there is failure to comply.

      Strike Two- An email and IM from a mod to remind, or address a situation. A second strike is given if there is still failure to comply.

      Strike Three- If a continual pattern has presented itself and there is a failure to comply with mod wishes, there will be an email sent to address the problem. If there is a failure to comply within the time limit provided, the character will be removed.

All information written in not_honest, nothonest_ooc, or any character's journal is copyrighted to the author. Anyone found to be using material herein for their own purposes will be removed from the community.

Rules are not final, and subject to change as problems arise. If you have any concerns or questions on if something will be allowed, contact a moderator.
